my granddaughter got stung today (twice) as she ran thru a pile of leaves.
Oh man, I know what that is and it ain't pretty, but the fall colors are.
Those fall colors manage to make even a yicky wasp's nest look good.
Great photo. I love the contrast between the wasp nest and the leaves. Very well done.

that's a paper wasp nest (Polistes spp). great shot and color contrast.
Will the fire department rescue a hornet's nest from up in a tree? Beautiful colors.
